Return Policy

Return Policy and Procedure
Unless otherwise specified in the item listing on our website, on the receipt or packing slip, or in the following terms, 4CITSOL (4C InfoTech Solutions) will accept qualified and conforming products for exchange or refund within 30 days of the original purchase date. You may return merchandise purchased at 4CITSOL if it meets the guidelines below. Not all products are returnable.

You may return merchandise to a 4CITSOL within 30 days by mail to our return center. All returns must be made in original condition and include all accessories. You will receive a credit for your purchase only if it meets the criteria below. We do not offer merchandise exchanges.
  • Products must be free from damage of any type, including, but not limited to dents, scratches, cracks, abuse, defacement or indication of removed screws/fasteners or seals.
  • Product serial number, or any similar identification numbers, must match the serial number on the package or invoice (4CITSOL maintains serial number and tracking)
  • Products must be in the original manufacturers packaging, and shipped securely

NOTE: All returned products will be thoroughly inspected and a determination will be made if eligibility and conforming requirements are met. Return processing may take up to 10 business days from the time your product is received.

Manufacturer and Supplier Restrictions?
Some manufacturers have implemented returns restrictions that prevent 4CITSOL from being able to accept returns or offer exchanges, replacements or credits on their products for any reason. You can find the manufacturer or suppliers contact information in your product manual, in the item listing, on the manufacturer's website.

30-Day Return Period?
Thirty days from the date merchandise was purchased, refunds are available on the remainder of our products (see exceptions below).


The following items are not returnable:

  • Labor and/or installation services
  • Consumables (toner cartridges, ink cartridges, blank media, projector bulbs, etc)
  • Items that are abused (see important note below)
  • Software (OS, video games, DVD's, and similar items, once their packaging or outer wrapping has been opened)

Any merchandise missing the original Universal Product Code (UPC) cannot be returned. Products labeled with a security seal, must have the seal intact and not tampered with. If the item is damaged or defective, please see details below.

Unwanted Returns: Unwanted product returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee and must have a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA#). Merchandise must be in the unused condition only.

Refused Delivery: Returns falling under this category will be treated as "Unwanted Returns", consequently they will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.  The customer will also be responsible for the return shipping cost incurred by the action of refusing the delivery. Consequently, a store credit will be issued less 20% restocking fee of the value of the merchandise and less shipping and handling fees both ways.

Defective Items:  A customer must return merchandise at their expense within 30 days from the date of delivery with prior Return Merchandise Authorization number. If an exchange is not requested at the issuing time of the RMA and automatic store credit will be applied once merchandise is returned back to the 4CITSOL return center.

If the return has been received to our warehouse after 30 days from the original day of the receipt of the merchandise, it will be sent to the Customer at their expense.

Personal Data?
Please remove all personal data (e.g., computer data, videotapes, images etc.), from any returned products. 4CITSOL is not responsible for any personal data left on or in these items.

Missing Item or Damaged Product Fee?
A missing item or damaged product fee will be charged for any product missing the original box, packaging material, contents, accessories and/or manuals (i.e., any product not in "like new" condition).

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Item?

If you return a damaged, defective or incorrect item by mail, you will receive a store credit. You may then choose to purchase a replacement item online.

Damaged Items (during shipping):

Please note that in the case of damage to an item during shipping 4CITSOL or our affiliate is required to file a damage claim with the carrier and proceed according to carrier regulations prior to being able to issue any exchange, credit, or refund.

  • In the case that a package arrives damaged 4CITSOL must be notified within 5 business days of the date of delivery.
  • In the case that a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorized Return) that was shipped to 4CITSOL at the customers expense arrives damaged, the customer themselves as the shipper in this case will be responsible for filing a claim with the shipping carrier. We will hold the returned unit for the carrier inspection which must be scheduled by the customer for up to 10 business days equivalent to two weeks.

All original packaging must be kept intact by the customer in order for a carrier claim and inspection to be initiated by 4CITSOL or by our affiliate once we are notified of the damage to your shipment. You (the customer/buyer) must make sure to retain the original shipping box which contains the carrier's shipping label and original tracking number.

Once a damage pick up is scheduled by 4CITSOL most carriers will make 3 attempts to retrieve the damaged package from customer's location for the inspection. It is imperative that you (customer) have the item ready for the carrier pick up the next day after the damage pick up is scheduled as this is when the first retrieval attempt will be made.

Please note that you will not be able to file a claim with the carrier directly as 4CITSOL or our affiliate are the shipper, and you must make sure to notify 4CITSOL of any damage to an item within the above stated time frames.

An exchange, credit or refund will be issued once the carrier claim is approved. Please note that a Damage Claim will normally take a minimum or 14 business days to be processed by the carrier.

Non-qualified returns and Restocking Charges?

Non-qualified and non-conforming returns are not included in 4CITSOL return policy and, if returned, will be rejected or subject to a restocking fee of up to 25% at 4ITSOL’s sole discretion.

In the event the product is being returned does NOT meet the requirements described in this document, we will photograph the merchandise and packaging, and prepare a detailed summary of our determination as to why the return was denied, the product(s) will be deemed not eligible for return and will be returned to you. If 4CITSOL, at our sole discretion, decides to accept a non-qualified item for return, a restocking fee of up to 25% will be assessed. These fees apply unless the item is defective or damaged, you received the wrong item.
